All-round mechanic (40 hours)

What will you do?

Our Technical Department takes care of all technical work in our company, from design to completion. No day is the same! You work and think actively on maintenance and improvements but also on the installation of our process and production lines. Because we do a lot ourselves, this is a challenging and instructive position. Other duties include;

  • You will perform inspections and maintenance and record them in our maintenance system;
  • You will solve malfunctions, both electrical and mechanical and actively think about how to prevent them;
  • You will work with the production staff to make the production process more efficient.

What do we offer?

You will join a cozy team of 10 technical colleagues. The atmosphere is informal and your contribution is important. We offer training and courses to further develop yourself. You work in a 2-shift system (06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00) and receive allowances. A position in which you actively participate in improvements and innovations in our process and production lines. Further;

  • One-year contract with the intention to convert to permanent employment;
  • 5 weeks of vacation leave per year and 8% vacation pay;
  • Travel reimbursement from 10 km round trip commuting;
  • Pension plan of Pensioenfonds PGB;
  • Individual Choice Budget and Bicycle Arrangement in the event of permanent employment;
  • Free weekly potato products;
  • Salary indication between € 3,000 - € 3,700 gross per month excluding allowances.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a (nearly) completed MBO education level 4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering;
  • You speak and write good Dutch;
  • You work independently, but also enjoy working in a team;
  • Experience in a food production facility and knowledge of food safety is a plus;
  • You are willing to work 2 shifts and sometimes weekends as needed (with allowance).
