Financial Controller (32–40 hours)
What will you do?
As a Financial Controller, you are a key link in our financial administration. You ensure that the figures are accurate, reports are reliable, and processes are continuously optimized. You work closely with the Financial Manager and your colleagues in the financial administration department. Your role involves not only processing and verifying data, but also analyzing and improving processes. You work independently and are responsible for specific areas within the financial administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- managing accounts receivable and accounts payable; preparing and reviewing financial reports;
- preparing monthly, periodic, and quarterly financial statements;
- preparing VAT returns (in the Netherlands and abroad);
- analyzing discrepancies and identifying opportunities for improvement;
- assist with inventory valuation and financial audits;
- optimizing administrative processes and reporting.
In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and analyzing data, making a significant contribution to the reliability of financial management information.

- a salary starting at €3,300 gross per month (based on a full-time contract, 40 hours), depending on knowledge and experience;

- a one-year contract with the intention of converting it to a permanent position.
Who are we looking for?
- HBO-level education and cognitive ability (preferably in Business Administration or a related field);
- at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
- experience with general ledger accounting, monthly or periodic closings, and VAT returns;
- Proficiency in Excel (experience with Power BI is a plus);
- a structured and meticulous approach to work.
