Housekeeping Staff Member (20 hours)

What will you do?

As a Housekeeping Staff Member, you ensure that our office buildings are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Thanks to your efforts, colleagues work in a pleasant and hygienic environment, and visitors feel welcome. You will handle the daily cleaning of the offices, cafeterias, and other areas, and ensure that coffee machines, kitchens, and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained. In addition, you will assist with providing coffee, tea, and lunches for visitors. You will have frequent contact with colleagues from various departments. Your duties will also include:

  • managing inventory such as cleaning supplies, coffee, and catering supplies;
  • managing and issuing locker keys, work clothes, and work shoes;
  • handling internal mail and assisting with staff meetings;
  • identifying any issues related to hygiene or facilities.

You will work Monday through Friday. Working hours are from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m., depending on your location.

What do we offer?

  • a salary between €2,450 and €3,000 gross per month (based on a full-time contract, 38 hours), depending on knowledge and experience;
  • pension accrual, flexible spending account, bicycle allowance, 8% vacation pay, 5 weeks of vacation leave per year (based on a full-time contract);
  • free potato products;
  • a one-year contract with the intention of converting it to a permanent position.

Who are we looking for?

  • VMBO-level academic and cognitive abilities;
  • You ideally have 1 to 2 years of experience in cleaning (or have advanced through the ranks within the company);
  • You have a sufficient command of Dutch to perform your duties and communicate with colleagues;
  • You should ideally live in Biddinghuizen or have your own transportation;
  • and you are self-reliant, meticulous, and a team player.
