Marketing & Sales Intern

What will you do?

Within our sales department, you’ll have the opportunity to take on a multifaceted marketing and sales internship, where you’ll actively contribute to expanding our client portfolio in Northwest Europe. Your responsibilities will include prospect and lead generation, analyzing market and customer data, and supporting commercial activities. In addition, you’ll help improve lead generation processes and contribute ideas on how we can further strengthen our marketing and sales approach. AI plays a supporting role in this. You’ll have the opportunity to use tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to gain insights, make processes more efficient, and better identify commercial opportunities. You’ll work closely with the commercial department and have the freedom to independently propose and implement ideas. This internship is suitable as a work placement or graduation project.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing,
  • Business Administration or a related field;
  • You are available for a period of approximately 20 weeks;
  • You have an affinity for AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Canva;
  • You are interested in marketing and lead generation;
  • You have data analysis skills and are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, and can communicate clearly.

The family business has now grown into an organization of 150 driven employees, with the aim of letting the whole world enjoy the potato. We have a passion for potatoes in all their forms!

We are therefore active in the entire potato chain: through our sorting, packing and peeling company, we supply a wide range of table potatoes and chilled potato products. Under our Poldergoud brand, we supply both foodservice, processing industry, and Retail customers.

We also work closely with breeding companies to develop and market new potato varieties. We are also active as suppliers of seed potatoes and exporters of ware potatoes.
